Great tips! And yes I agree the length of vacation being dependent more on the destination than anything else (sure the time you have spare is important too). I also heavily use Pinterest to plan my trips (pro tip to use it for your local place too, it’s very interesting what you can actually miss as a local). Absolutely loved the post, it’s very useful. Definitely gives me travel fever.

I agree with your tips! I think it's important to plan your vacation several weeks beforehand so that you know what you want to see. That's why I try not to travel at the last minute.

Destination - current mood = ANYWHERE BUT MY HOUSE. LMAO. Seriously though, great tips. Though as an overplanner I'd also suggest "planning' some R+R in there amongst the "things to see and do".
